Course Overview:

Bahri Ship Management strives to provide the best range of functions and services to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and overall management of ships or vessels. Its primary function is to ensure that the vessel operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations, while also maximizing its commercial potential for Bahri.



Therefore, this course will introduce Bahri staff to the main departments and some of the key functions provided by Bahri Ship management.



Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

- Enhance awareness of the key functions provided by Bahri

- Explore Fleet Personnel Department including understand the roles and ranks of ships’ crew

- Understand the role of Operation & Maintenance Procurement Department in supporting Bahri fleets

- Manage ships efficiently with a continuous focus on improvement in different aspects of ship operations like fleet performance, drydocking, etc.

- Have a comprehensive understanding of the New Building Department

- Understand the vital role the Fleet Security Department plays in ensuring the safety and security of vessels navigating High-Risk Areas
